•1. David’s unfortunate luck was getting caught at mischief when his brothers where committing the same crime and not receiving the same punishment.

•2. His brothers did get punished, but not as bad as David. She would make them search for her missing items, but David was the only one singled out after a few months of searching.

•3. She displayed a character change when she became the den mother for the cubs, and showed more affection for the troops than her own son.

•4. When he saw his mother in a nice dress, it meant that his father was going to be around and he wouldn’t have to worry about getting beat.

•5. The corner treatment was that he just looked at a wall all day, the mirror treatment was that she smashed his face onto a mirror and made him say he was a bad boy. I’d prefer that corner because when she does the mirror treatment it makes him look like a b***** and no one can handle that kind of humiliation.

•6. He would fantasize about him finding whatever it was that his mother lost and she would give him hugs and kisses.

•7. When his father was around he was glad because he didn’t have to worry about his mother yelling at him or eating him.

•8. David and his father had a very tight relationship because David was his son.

•9. The first major abuse that she inflicted toward David was that she dislocated his arm while she was beating him.

•10. She told him to sleep on the top bunk so she could take him to the hospital and say he fell from the top bunk because she knows what she had done to his arm.

•11. School was a breeze for him but his mom made it hell for him by holding him back another year.

•12. He feels as if he needs to be by her side because he is just a little boy, if he was older he would have got it right away and avoided her.

•13. She ignores him by just beating him until he thinks to himself that it just isn’t going to work.

•14. If he wanted to live, he had to buy himself time when him and his mother are alone and he can’t show that he is being hurt in any way to beat his mother.

•15. His mother shows more affection to his younger brother Ron because she thinks its going to get to him.

Blitzed-adjective Slang- drunk or stoned, extremely tired.


A friend i once knew would be BLITZED out of his mind when we used to hang out.












Venture-noun- an undertaking involving uncertainty as to the outcome, esp. a risky or dangerous one.


I once VENTURED out into the open for weeks, and realized once i woke up, it was a dream.









Meticulously-adjective- taking or showing extreme care about minute details; precise; thorough


I once knew a man who was METACULOUS adherence to technicalities.












Fiend-noun- a diabolically cruel or wicked person.


If you ever pick something up from the floor, you're known as a FIEND.











Modest-adkective- having or showing a moderate or humble estimate of one's merits, importance.


A MODEST increase in salary is really great.















Reluctantly-adjective- unwilling; disinclined

A RELUCTANT candidate is always not ready to lose an election














Scalding-verb- To burn with or as if with hot liquid or steam.


In the movie we just watched, a boy was SCALDED becuase he couldn't good.













Topple-verb- to fall forward, as from having too heavy a top; pitch; tumble down.


Humpty dumpty accidently TOPPLED over the brick wall and fell to his death.












Defiance-noun- a daring or bold resistance to authority or to any opposing force.


There was a splendid audience in DEFIANCE of the rainstorm.
